JoinGood is about meeting people in real life. That's the point — and it means a bit of common sense goes a long way.

Before you go

• Meet somewhere public the first time, especially for anything one-to-one.
• Tell a friend or family member where you're going and when you'll be back.
• Check who else is going. Activities with a few people are a good place to start.
• Leave if anything feels off. You never owe anyone an explanation.

Working with vulnerable people

Activities involving children or vulnerable adults should be organised through a charity or organisation that does its own safeguarding checks. Volunteer credentials shown on JoinGood are self-declared unless marked ✓ verified — a badge is never a substitute for an organisation's own checks (such as a DBS check).

Community rules

• Be honest — post real activities, real names, real qualifications.
• No harassment, discrimination, or pressuring people for money or personal details.
• No commercial selling or spam.
• Charity trips are for registered charities. JoinGood never handles donations.

Reporting and blocking

On any activity you can report it or block the host. Reports are read by the JoinGood team, who can remove activities and suspend accounts. Blocking hides someone's activities from you straight away.
